30’ - Short documentary – Greece 2018
PREMIERE: 12th DOCFEST 2018
The re-use of materials, such as the plastic water bottles, has been a passion for Eva, an architect from Greece and her British husband Jeremy. They live in London and spend their summer in the in the intriguing island of Schinoussa in the Aegean Sea.
In August 2016, they decided to take on the challenge and row around the island in a day, on a two people sea raft that they built from used plastic water bottles. Is this going to be enough for people to get interested in Up-Cycling? Will it create awareness in the environmental effects of pollution by plastics?
They must conquer, "meltemi , a tretsourous wind in the Aegean for 12 nautical miles.
The youth, supports the pair on their adventure. Schinoussa sends a loud message for Up Cycling.
